To help you save money and maximize the life of your hoops, Allied offers replacement embroidery hoop adjusting screws and parts - threaded barrel nuts, center spacer springs, etc. - for all Allied hoops.
• Most sizes of Standard Allied Grid-Lock (AGL / AGLC) version hoops utilize a center-mount hoop adjusting screw. Original Design (AGL) version hoops (7 cm through 24 x 24 cm) have standard hex-head adjusting screws. New Design (AGLC) version hoops feature an improved, longer adjusting thumbscrew that provides added hoop opening. Also, the larger, textured head makes turning by hand much easier.
• Premium Allied Grid-Lock (PAGL) version hoops feature an easy-to-turn extra-long 79 mm (3 1/8 in) bolt-style hoop adjusting screw that provides maximum hoop opening for thicker garments. This type of screw can also be turned by screw driver - the ideal choice for those with dexterity issues.
• Allied Wooden (AWH) version hoops feature a similar easy-to-turn extra-long 67 mm (2 5/8 in) bolt-style hoop adjusting screw that provides maximum hoop opening for thicker garments. This type of screw can also be turned by screw driver.
• Extra long hoop adjustment screws are available for many Allied hoops.

Best Quality Hoops
"We have been using Allied Grid-Lock hoops for many years and we find them much more accurate to hoop with. I wasn't sure if we needed the premium adjustment screw but now we can't be without them.
