"The first embroidery hoops (non-Allied brand) that we used were too smooth and they did not have markings on them. Our second machine came with Allied Grid-Lock™ hoops with the reference markings on them. Wow, they make it so much easier to check for proper hoop placement! It also easier to center the frame on the machine with the raised dot on top of the hoop. Best Quality Hoops
"We have been using Allied Grid-Lock hoops for many years and we find them much more accurate to hoop with. I wasn't sure if we needed the premium adjustment screw but now we can't be without them. They add that extra bit of opening that now allows us to hoop bulkier jackets and other heavy fabrics. I have a mix of experienced and inexperienced embroiderers.
